Secondary Technical School of Civil

Our school offers for girls and boys, for successful graduates of elementary schools full-time four-year study in engineering 3650 6 00 ending with a school-leaving examination. In each school year we open a class with Slovak language and two classes with Hungarian language.
The advantage of an integrated engineering department for a student to choose a large number of elective courses especially in the 3rd and 4 year, enabling them to further specialize in certain construction sector.
School leavers acquire the ability to design and work on the computer, to levy property surveying instruments, improve their marketing, accounting, foreign languages (German, English). They are ready to perform technical and economic functions in the construction industry and other sectors of the economy, in the commercial, economic and service.

They may be applied as

• Construction managers, project engineering and budget designers, technicians of preparation and implementation of investment and engineering operation dispatchers,
• civil engineers, professionals and reconstruction works to protect and restore historic sites of construction, building technologists,
• experts in water management and hydraulic engineering, building hydro-ecological construction, flood protection,
• technical and economic experts specialized in government and business, to environmental authorities,
• masters training in secondary vocational education.
• they are ready to continue their studies in technical universities. Each year about 60 % of our graduates continue their studies, in the number of unemployed graduates have lower average than the regional.

The innovation is post-secondary education in field ‘Engineering’ for graduates gymnasiums, secondary schools of non-construction direction and for graduates secondary training colleges.
